I have been in the healthcare industry for the last 23 years. I have been working as a therapist since 2010 and as a Bilingual Social Worker/Behavioral Health Specialist since 2011. I have held both positions simultaneously. I suppose you could say that I love to work.
I gained my clinical hours at Family Service Association where I worked with children, adolescents, adults and the aging population using a variety of theoretical perspectives. I have a special interest in depressive and anxiety disorders though I am not limited to these. I treat people from all walks of life. I believe in treating everyone with dignity, respect and without judgment.
I earned my Bachelors and Masters Degree from California Baptist University, Riverside. My Bachelors degree is in Psychology and my Masters degree is in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.
We know that each of us has an inherent purpose in life. Mine is that of helping people. As far back as I can remember, I have enjoyed helping others. It’s something that comes natural to me and that I love. It brings me great joy to see changes in people and to know that I have played a role in that change.
I am interactive therapist who uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Eye Movement Desensization Reprocessing (EMDR) Mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and others. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
